14th December 2009 - CanUK acquires additional Scenery Designer
    It was announced today by Adam Bentley of CanUK that "we have brought on board with us a young fellow from Embry Riddle Prescott Campus in Arizona - an aerospace engineer who does scenery design as a hobby. He is going to do some photoreal ground work for us for our USA airports. He starts on Grand Canyon in the next day or two." Yhis young man (Who's name has not been announced yet) will be a real bonus to CanUK and the Flight Simulation world.

    CanUK Website updated and a scenery Photo Gallery has been created.


26th November

CanUk is pleased to announce the addition of new members to the group. Joining the group are Al Sibley from Toronto, Ontario, Randy Oldfield of Saint John, New Brunswick and Shane Strong from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Al Sibley is a landclass specialist and has done some wonderful work on our Maritime sceneries. His work on sceneries produced by Flight Ontario are well-known and of a very high quality. He will be working on improving the default geography of our future projects as well while continuing to create great landclass projects for Flight Ontario.
Randy brings with him experience with HTML ,PHP, XML, PERL, and texture creation. Randy will be using GMAX to model buildings/airport structures in future sceneries and will also be updating and modifying the web page.
Shane, of MapleLeaf Imaging fame, will be creating local AI packages (flightplans and aircraft paints) specific to each scenery. Shane is presently learning GMAX and will also be creating buildings for the group.
CanUk welcomes these new members and looks forward to a long and productive working relationship.
