I am orginally from a small community in Newfoundland called Port au Port. Just South West of Stephenville (CYJT).I am ex-military(Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Oct 1965 - Jan 1974, then Military Police Jan 1974 - Oct 1984. My postings included, CFB Gagetown NB, 1966 - 1972 & 1982 -1984, CFB Baden West Germany, 1972 - 1975, CFS Gander NL, 1975 - 1978 and CFB Kingston ONT., 1978 - 1982. I left the Military in 1984 and joined the now disbanded New Brunswick Highway Patrol where I served as a Police Sergeant and Detachment Commander. After a short period in the RCMP, I decided to resign and remain in the Fredericton area where I began working as a NB Provincial Correctional Officer and supervisor for a period of 10 years, followed by 7 years as the Operations/Communications Officer with the NB Emergency Measures Organization in Fredericton, NB. I am currently retired. My home is in Burton, NB. located approximately 5 kilometers South of the town of Oromocto. I married a Moncton girl in 1969, and we have two children and five grandchildren. My wife is also retired . I have been a Ham Radio Operator since Feb 2001 and the hobby is interesting. I took up Flight Simulator early in 2009 and I am truly enjoying this new venture.

Adam resides in Back Bay, NB where he presently lives with his wife Ann and their son Eric Benjamin. Adam operates CanUk scenery which produces freeware Canadian airport sceneries. He is a high school teacher and enjoys creating scenery with his free time.
