Meet The Pilots
John Taylor
(YSJ Chief Pilot)
C-SJJT
I reside in Quispamsis and am retired after 37 years with (NBTel) Aliant. My interest in aviation began with my first flight out of Greenwood, NS in the navigators seat of an Argus CP 107. I was a member of the 161 CK Beveridge Air Cadet Squadron at the time. My other interests include woodworking and playing drums in a Pipe Band in Saint John. My preferred aircraft are the Learjet 45 and the Airbus A320. I look forward to meeting the others members of NBFS and developing some lasting friendships.
Favorite Aircraft: Learjet 45 and the Airbus A320

Kal White
Communications Officer
C-SJKW
I am currently serving as the Communications Officer for the YSJ Hangar. I  reside in Rothesay, NB with my very understanding wife. My interest in Flight Simulator began about 13 years ago but in the past 3 years, with great support from the YSJ Hanger guys, I even land now with the gear down.
I have flown hundreds of thousands of miles while I worked and was treated most of those flights to being in the jump seat and as a result, Flight Simulator has become a passion of mine ever since.
I have met a great group of guys since becoming a member of FSNB and hope to meet many more through this enjoyable hobby.  Please excuse the photo as I had it age enhanced so that I would look like the others.

I have been using IVAO for years and can not realy remember whenI started flightsim. I have over 5000 registered hours with Albion Air Cargo (all types of A/C - Helios, AN124 down to DHC3 and many of the oldies) and flew for vRAF (Helios there) & GWA - I would like to learn more about NB Flightsim. I live near the Saint John airport.

Rolf Spandenberg
FSNB Chairman
C-SJRS
Rolf was born in Northern Germany and has lived in Canada, both in Montreal and for the last 30 some years in the Saint John area, making him almost a native. He is in the insurance business. He has and continues to travel extensively regionally, nationally and internationally and enjoys flying to get to a destination. When he first installed the software, his family wondered aloud whether this was a fore runner to learning how to actually fly. This was of course denied .... somewhat.

Terry Lait
C-SJTL
Terry is well know for his "unique" flying skills. He is often quoted as saying "Read the manual when all else fails." Employed by Atlantic Towing, Terry finds himself sailing all over the world and his simulator is never too far from his bunk. He is especially interested in aircraft panels and is an avid ATR 500 user. He currently resides in Quispamsis, New Brunswick with his wife and family.

Jorge Maldonado Daza
C-SJJD
I am 21 years old, originally from Ecuador. Currently I am finishing my last year of Business Administration at the University of New Brunswick. I plan on becoming a pilot after that, probably here in NB.

I´ve been with flight simulators since I was 12 years old, and have more than 500 hours as a controller, and 800 flying hours in VATSIM.
